The Green Mountain Falls/Chipita Park Volunteer Fire Department now has its first female Assistant Chief.

In December of 2009 the volunteers elected our first female Assistant Fire Chief. Captain Deanna McDougal will take over her new job in January of 2010. This marks the first time in the history of the Department that a female has held a Chief position. Deanna joined the Department in June of 2000. She has held the rank of Captain and directed our medical program. In 2008 Deanna was assigned to direct our fire equipment and safety program. Deanna is certified as an EMT-BIV and FF-1. As Assistant Chief Deanna's primary responsibilies will be coordinating training and tracking training and certification hours. Congratulations Deanna and good luck in your new position!
